Mike Bunten

Employment Region: San Bernardino County

My goal is to serve the IA CUE board with support & ideas on how to engage students regardless of their socio-economic status. As a CTE teacher, TOA-Instructional Technology, and an AP in Alt Ed, I bring an awareness of student need, regardless of background, class, or social economic status. All students should have access to technology that provides the ability to increase achievement across student groups and provide students with the needed skills and abilities to be college & career ready. @mikebunten

Nicholas Clayton

Employment Region: San Bernardino County

Nick has been teaching and training teachers for 9 years and is currently a special education/technology teacher 4-6th grade at Puesta Del Sol Elementary School in Victorville, CA. He lives for his wife of 15 years Amanda, his 9 y/o daughter Mia (who started the NPO: @MiasBoxesofLove) and his 7 y/o son Griffin. He loves Twitter, his PLN, and global learning. He has completed teaching projects and trainings in everything from VR to robotics to coding to 3D development for all age ranges. @crikeypotter

Brent Coley

Employment Region: Riverside County

I am currently the principal of Alta Murrieta Elementary and, before moving into administration, I taught 4th and 5th grade for 15 years. I have been active with CUE for nearly two decades, attending the national conference for 19 years and presenting at affiliate events and the national conference since 2009. I have a passion for learning and sharing, and I have a desire to serve on the IACUE Board as a way to give back to the CUE community that has given so much to me. @brentcoley

David Culberhouse

Employment Region: San Bernardino County

Currently serve as an LCAP Program Manager for San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, with 27 years in education as an Elementary/ Secondary teacher, Program Specialist, Elem. Admin, Principal, Senior Director of Elementary Education.

At the County level, I've also served in the following; PLN facilitator through CCEE, Improvement Science facilitation for CIC, facilitator for National Institute of School Leadership, leadership facilitation for SBCSS Assistant Superintendents Network. @DCulberhouse

Patricia Gomez

I have have served as an educator to students in K-6 for about 15 years; the last 3 years of which, I've had the privilege of supporting my peers as a Professional Development Specialist in Technology. I have always had a passion for serving others, and have especially found it rewarding to helping students and teachers strengthen their technology skills in order to be 21st Century ready. I have also enjoyed working with an incredible board that is passionate about continuing the growth of IACUE events. I am honored to be nominated for the IACUE board. I have spent the last 29 years pursuing resources and ideas to provide the best professional development for teachers, not only in our district, but the region. I believe much can be accomplished when people work collaboratively. Your vote will be for my continued passion of supporting educators in using technology to make a difference in student learning. Heather Hilz Fitzgerald

I want to encourage educators to create learning experiences for students that they will never forget. To allow them to understand that their teaching is purposeful. My goal is to inspire educators to use technology in a way that will allow students to express themselves and create products of their learning. Rosalinda Jaimes

I am a proud Auntie and fourth-grade teacher at Susan LaVorgna Elementary. I have dedicated my 14-year career for Temecula Valley Unified School District to infuse technology anywhere I can. In addition, I am a Google for Education Certified Trainer & Innovator (#COL16), Educator Levels 1 & 2, and an Apple Teacher. I have and continue to provide district training to teachers of all grade levels as well as administration. I am proud to be the co-founder of the TechFairies. @apajaimes

Hello IACUE! I've been teaching for 18 years, mostly at the elementary level in Fontana. My main reason for joining CUE is the opportunity to learn from edtech teachers outside of my established PLN. I have experience with coding, robotics, and blended learning in my 5th grade class. The excitement and engagement is powerful! My hope is to spread that level of excitement and engagement by participating in CUE events and professional learning. @RWjordan

My overall goal and vision is to empower our students outcome through technology and work collaboratively with administration, teachers, students and parents. I believe technology by itself is not the answer but its effective use coupled with instruction is key and can unlock students unlimited potential. During my time in LEUSD, I’ve worked hard to bring new types of learning to our teachers including web-based scheduling of support, teacher-led sessions, CUE Rockstar events, and micro-credentials in a way that has truly transformed how our staff feels about teaching and learning. Debra Peters is focused on Digital Integration that transforms learning and teaching in multiple learning environments. She is a 3rd-grade Teacher who is facilitating and enhancing learning with a variety of digital tools to allow her students to customize their learning with voice and choice. I would love to represent IACUE as a board member because I am passionate about helping both teachers and students be innovative with the use of technology in the classroom. I believe technology used correctly can provide student agency which gives students voice and provides choice on how they best learn. Natalie Valles serves as a Digital Lead and Peer Assistance teacher in the HUSD. As the founder for @CUETHS, she provides 1:1 tech integration support & coordinates events at her site.A presenter for CUE, CLS & Google Camps since 2013, she has participated with the Ed Tech Coaches, a Kahn Ambassador, Google Certified & Newsela Certified Educator.This year, Natalie was featured in Ca Educator Magazine for her work with students abroad on educ'l tours & a nominee for CLS Educator of the Year. @CUETHS
